Bi-directional scanning tool for quick problem location
MK808K-BT automotive diagnostic tool, has been added the new Bi-directional Control function, which is the first appearance of this feature on Autel core diagnostic tools. Applying bi-directional control, also called active test/actuator test, improves efficiency 5x faster troubleshooting and diagnostic accuracy.

Featuring bi-directional control, this Autel smart diagnostic tool for all cars - Autel MaxiCOM MK808K-BT, can issue commands to ECUs, read data from the ECU and monitor the operation of actuators. Through active testing, also called actuator testing, this two-way diagnostic scanner can accurately locate car problems, letting you quickly know whether a specific system, component, or subsystem is working properly or not .

Autel has released the FCA Auto Auth feature for FREE on 2018 and newer FCA cars (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat) in the United States, Canada and Mexico, which covers wider vehicles and helps technicians to win more business.

There are 3 easy steps:

  1. Authorized OEM Access Account Registration;

  2. Confirm compatible diagnostic platform;

  3. Immediate access to authorized secure gateway.

Remember to update FCA vehicle software to V9.50

All in-depth system diagnostics
The Diagnostics application allows data link to the electronic control system of the test vehicle for vehicle diagnosis. The application performs functional tests, retrieves vehicle diagnostic information such as trouble and event codes and live data for various vehicle control systems, such as ABS, SRS, engine, transmission, system braking, emission system, fuel system, light system, wiper system etc.

Options available when you access the Diagnostic section
1. Auto Scan - The Auto Scan feature performs a full scan of the ECUs in the vehicle's system to locate and retrieve DTCs.
2. Control Units - displays a menu for selecting all available control units of the test vehicle.

Vehicle Identification Methods
1. Auto VIN Scan
MaxiCOM diagnostic system has the latest VIN based auto VIN scan function to identify vehicles and scan all diagnosable ECUs and run diagnostics on the selected system.

  1. Manual VIN Entry
    For vehicles that do not support the Auto VIN Scan function, you can manually enter the vehicle's VIN.

  2. Auto Selection
    Auto VIN scan can be selected after selecting the test vehicle manufacturer.

  3. Manual selection
    When the vehicle VIN is not automatically retrievable via the vehicle ECU, or the specific VIN is unknown, the vehicle can be manually selected.

PLEASE NOTE:
Auto VIN function cannot work on all cars. You can still manually navigate your vehicle's menu to perform diagnostics and services.

ECU Information
ECU Information - Retrieves and displays specific information of the control unit under test, including unit type, version numbers and other specifications.

Read Codes
Read Codes - Displays detailed information from DTC records retrieved from the test vehicle's ECU. On some vehicles, freeze frame data can also be retrieved for viewing.

Clear Codes
Clear Codes - Clears DTC records and other data from the test vehicle's ECU.

Live Data
Live Data - Retrieves and displays live data and parameters from the test vehicle's ECU. View live data in text, graph, and analogue formats for easy data review.

Complete OBD2 functions
Read Codes: Shows detailed description of diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
Clear Codes and Reset: Turns off Check Engine Light (MIL), clears codes and resets monitors.
Data Stream: Reads and displays live ECU/PCM data stream, plotting functions graphically and stores data in freeze frame.
I/M Readiness Status: Indicates whether the various emissions-related systems on the vehicle are functioning properly and are ready for inspection and maintenance testing.
Read Live Data Stream: Displays information from a vehicle's continuous data stream in a live graphical (waveform) display.
View Freeze Frame Data: Check certain vehicle conditions that are recorded by the on-board computer at the time the emissions-related fault occurs.
O2 Sensor Test: Allows you to retrieve and view test results from the O2 sensor monitor for the most recent tests performed from the vehicle's on-board computer.
On-Board Monitor Test: Retrieves and displays test results of emissions-related powertrain components and systems.
Read Vehicle Information: View information like VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID) and CVN (Calibration Verification Number), etc.
Component testing: Some vehicle components can be operated by commands sent by the scanner to test their operation.

Autel Cloud Management:
Device management and report management, allow you to upload data or diagnostic reports to Autel Cloud without loss and easily share reports with customers via QR Code/email/text message.

NOTE: MK808S can add new keys only on low quality anti-theft vehicles. It can't add keys on high quality anti-theft vehicles like on BMW, Benz, Audi, VW and etc.
